Description
A fuel generator produces electricity using hydrogen fuel. Unlike cheaper solar panels, the generator can be a source of energy at any time of day.
Fuel generators appeared on the Moon as a backup power source during long nights. Their presence alleviated concerns about battery failure and increased the safety of personnel on lunar bases. With the development of the mining industry and the advent of large hydrogen plants, fuel generators began to be used more frequently as the main power source.
