Rooms are one of the core components of the crust, being the only place for colonists to regain oxygen and for many colonist-related buildings to be built.

Trivia

• The larger the room is, the more oxygen will slowly leak out.
• As of July 11, 2024, rooms will sometimes not update and fail to apply changes such as oxygen, water, or power status. One way to fix this is to enter room construction mode, select a 1x1 area with Standard Wall inside the problematic room, and cancel placement.
