About

"Minos" is an international research station on Europa, a satellite of Jupiter. The space program to establish a base on Europa was developed by CRUST in 2071. The colony was erected in 2076 based on an existing automated outpost from the Galileo Grid project, and the transportation of cargo and colonists was provided by the XSpace Corporation. "Minos" is a research base hidden beneath a column of ice to protect it from radiation. It is home to about two hundred scientists and colonists who are engaged in a comprehensive study of the satellite's surface and its underground ocean. The colony is gradually expanding and constructing new facilities in the ice as necessary materials are delivered from Earth, the Moon, and Mars.
